Afternoon arts activities

For children aged 5 – 10 years old. All 8 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adults

Every Thursday at the centre from 3.45pm – 4.45pm.

Come join us at the Outta Skool Art Club to connect, play and create! Each Thursday is a different adventure- a mix of games, drama and art. We learn new art skills and create makes to take home. We also work on bigger projects to realise exhibitions, parties and theatrical happenings. Join Jess and Kirsty to make new friends, share skills and have fun! We welcome families attending together to support our community art club!
 
We are currently working toward our Children’s Summer Party: A Magical Outdoor Adventure!

Hi I’m Kirsty and I am a neurodivergent visual artist, puppet maker and socially engaged practitioner with over 12 years experience delivering high quality art projects and theatrical experiences for communities. For the past six years I’ve been working in and around Mildmay Ward and Islington as a youth worker, play worker, artist in residence and theatre-maker.
 
I design and deliver the Outta Skool Art Club at Mildmay Community Centre which has been a weekly term-time offering for primary aged children in the local area to come together and create! 
In my time here I have lead on a number of immersive events and a variety of art based programmes for adults and families. If you are keen to get creative, contact me at:
