Who am I?
From the three people who know me best…
‘Extremely generous, empathetic and tenacious to the cause when believes in something or someone’ – ‘Greatest mum of all’ – ‘A proper fun loving, strong, tough mum’
My Interests
Following in the footsteps and taught by my Mother, from the age of 3, I learnt tap and ballet, performing in many shows. And so, I’ve always loved and enjoy an eclectic array of music and the arts.
Enjoy dining, with family & friends, a really good debate, a great meal. And a decent amateur production of Gilbert and Sullivan.
My two biggest achievements
I very rarely sing anymore, and so memories of…
Many years ago, in our music studio here at the Mildmay, during a visit of Dr Lloyd Miller, with Dr Miller at the piano; albeit briefly, I sang ‘God Bless the Child’.
Stepping in for a lead singer who was to perform for Newington Green primary school, but he didn’t show up on the night. So, I covered his solo ‘Knocking on Heaven’s Door.’
One quirky fact about me
I can still recite the Pepsi slogan from the 70’s!’
