No soggy bottoms here! At the end of July, we held a Bake Off and Bingo event in partnership with the Golden Oldies. Anyone from the community could join in the fun, and 6 plucky bakers entered cakes in our special bake off.
Liz Ehagan won the bake off with her delicious tangy lemon and poppy seed cake. She took home a personalised chopping board and a John Lewis voucher. The lovely picture below shows her receiving her prizes from Alison, joined by her two young grandchildren.
