It is with sadness that we must tell you that Milly Webster, a long standing member of the Mildmay Community Centre (formally the Mayville), passed away on the 29 August 2021.
A long – standing resident of the Mayville Estate Milly was a trustee of the board for Mildmay Community Partnership as well as the Chair of the Golden Oldies Senior Citizens and Disabled Group . Milly has been an avid member of the Mildmay Community Centre for over 30 years . Milly, in the 80’s ran the weekly bingo club and in the 90’s a childminders group.
Over the years you would have also seen Milly volunteering at one of our many community events held here at the community centre . A lady who loved her community centre as well as her bingo! and who, a short time ago lent her support for our Bingo! And Bake Off! Community event.
Milly will be dearly missed by the team of staff , volunteers , the board of Mildmay Community Partnership, and by those who not only knew her as a neighbour but as a long – time friend.
We wish Milly’s family all of the best during this difficult time, but we will always remember Milly as the kind, loving person that she was within the community. Her impact on the local community will live on forever.
